LAWRENCE BROTHERTON Lawrence Brotherton grew up in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. As a boy working in his family's custom drapery and upholstery shop, Larry fell in love with colors and textures and their ability to transform any space. After graduating from vocational high school with a focus in carpentry, he traveled the East Coast with a company that specialized in restoring hotels. In 2000, Larry moved to the Pioneer Valley and worked with a well-established landscape company as a way to pay his college tuition, soon becoming a foreman. After studying Environmental Science, he realized that he could combine his love of the outdoors with his need to create and have a fulfilling and satisfying career. Larry is ICPI certified, and specializes in dry-lay Goshen stone work — building structures that are not only designed to please the eye, but also to withstand the test of time. Larry lives in Northampton. He enjoys fishing and hiking in his spare time. |
